Taxi Fare Finder DC takes start/destination data you supply and returns an estimated base fare (calculated using DC rates). Your actual fare, which may be more due to weather, traffic and/or construction (if you're really unlucky, all three) will climb to include a $1 gasoline surcharge, a $1.50 fee for each additional passenger, and any tolls or airport charges incurred. Other fees may also apply. The maximum fare for trips within DC is $19.
